Krapple apples are growing on the field of East part Hungary, the town called Krasznokvajda. Krasznokvajda is a municipality in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, in the Encs subregion, 60 kms from Miskolc to Northeast direction. The distribution ratio on our fields of the eating and industrial apple provide 50% - 50%. In the classification of eating apples, we are dealing with the following types (according to 2018’s data):
